What's Wrong with Polygamy?

I know this is a scare tactic from the right, but...CBN.com:

The stakes are high because if same- sex marriage becomes legal, polygamy may be next.

And?

Kurtz asked, "Where does it stop? If we allow same sex couples to marry, why wouldn't we allow groups to marry? Why wouldn't we allow classic Mormon old-fashioned style polygamy? There's really no limit."

Don't forget about the new-fashioned polygamy. Fun for everyone!

Why shouldn't three or more consenting adults (of any sex) proclaim their love publicly? You know, like same-sex marriage, if polygamy is legalized it won't be mandatory.
